Bókverkið samanstendur af punktum þar sem hver punktur táknar eina sekúndu og samanlagt tákna þeir þann tíma sem það tekur jörðina að fara í kringum sólina. Bókverkið er þúsund ótölusettar síður að lengd með svörtu prenti á mattan pappír. Verkið er límbundið með mjúkum spjöldum. Bókin er í harðspjalda umslagi ásamt öðru bindi bókverksins. Bókin var útgefin af Ottenhausen Verlag í München árið 1982 í 100 eintökum. Verkið var áður gefið út í 150 eintökum í Reykjavík og Amsterdam, þar af voru 50 tölusett eintök.
The artist’s book consists of points that represent seconds on a trip around the sun. The artist’s book is a thousand unnumbered pages with black print on matte paper. The work is in case binding with a soft cover. The book is in a hard cover shield cover along the second volume of the artist’s book. The book was published by Ottenhausen Verlag in München in 1982 in 100 copies. The publication was a second edition as the work was first published in Reykjavík and Amsterdam in 1975 in 150 copies, thereof 50 copies were numbered.
